2015 Virginia Film Festival WRAP UP

Last weekend, I returned to yet another film festival that I love, and that is the Virginia Film Festival.  Created in 1990, the festival has become a staple of Virginia, regularly holding its event on UVA’s campus in Charlottesville.  Never a stranger to landmark films and terrific guests, the festival has featured films such as NEBRASKA, BLACK SWAN, and THE DESCENDANTS to name a few. Additionally, the festival has had the likes of Jimmy Stewart, Morgan Freeman, Vanessa Redgrave, Anthony Hopkins, Sandra Bullock, Nicolas Cage, Gena Rowlands, Sigourney Weaver, William Styron, Tippi Hedren, Ross McElwee, Matthew Broderick, Will Forte, Mia Wasikowska, Barry Levinson, David Dastmalchian, Ashley Judd, Jenna Elfman, and Patrick Wilson all come as special guests through the years.
